Ohio Blue Clarage
Ohio Blue Clarage is a heritage (non-GMO) variety of blue corn. Originally developed by homesteaders in the Ohio Valley between 1900-1920. Has a higher sugar level than most heritage dent corns. Blue color comes from anthocyanin compounds (water-soluble pigments and flavanoids).
This heritage corn was grown in Pennsylvania on an open pollination field. It is non-GMO and conventionally grown.
